IBU OPEN EUROPEAN BIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIP U 26 IN UFA
(25.02.2009 – arrival of the teams, 05.03.2009 – departure of the teams)

Welcome to the Open European Biathlon Championship U 26 /25.02-05.03 2009/ in Ufa.
You will attend a super new format of the most prestigious tournament of the Old World. Juniors and seniors under 26 years will fight for the medals of the European Championships. You will have a chance to see new biathlon stars ascension on the biathlon sky: next year they will shine at World Cup Stages, Olympic Games-2010 in Vancouver and in Sochi-2014.
For the first time the Ufa sport complex «Biathlon» is afforded the honour of receiving such high-level international winter biathlon competitions. Having great experience of holding world events in hockey, speedway, checkers, belt wrestling and summer biathlon, the Organizing Committee Ufa is applying best efforts to make the European Championships like a bright and unforgettable sport feast!
